The 4 Dimensions of Extraordinary Leadership is a leadership manual based on the principles of the Greatest Commandment given by Jesus in Mark 12:
30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Jenni uses these 4 aspects: heart, soul, mind, and strength, to define a framework for extraordinary leadership development. She shares her own experience and encourages you to grow your own influence through your heart (relational leadership), your soul (spiritual leadership), your mind (managerial leadership), and your strength (visionary leadership).
Initially I thought this book wouldn’t apply much to the motherhood trenches I’m crawling through. However, Jenni’s approach to leadership is such that you can apply the principles and lessons to your life whether you are a CEO of a company, a solo-preneur, a pastor or ministry leader, or a Mom trying to get through each day. I was challenged to lead better as a Mom, and was inspired as I made connections from my strengths and the passions I have to help and lead women in truth to ways I’m leading our girls in our home every day.
Jenni Catron presented a very Biblical basis for leadership strategy and development. Her communication was clear and engaging, and I will be recommending this to others on my team of leaders. I strongly encourage any who consider themselves to be believers to grab this book. It’s a relatively easy read that will help you take your leadership from ordinary to extraordinary.
